SUMMARY:2nd Annual Warm-A-Kid Coat Drive
DESCRIPTION:Last year\, AAO decided to host our 1st Annual Warm-A-Kid Drive to assist young children within Douglas County stay warm for the winter. The Warm-A-Kid Drive was established in Champaign\, Illinois to ensure children had access to coats\, hats and gloves for the winter. The event was started by Minister Hattie Paulk\, who serves as the Vice President of AAO Leadership Academy. With the help of several generous donors\, AAO Leadership Academy was able to help over 60 children at Burnett Elementary school and the surrounding area stay warm last winter. This year\, it is again our mission to make a difference in the lives of children by ensuring that each child stays warm this winter. \nAfter careful consideration\, our board members unanimously voted to host our 2nd annual event in Douglas and Paulding counties. To make this mission a success\, we need your help. We are asking that the first name and the child’s size be submitted to the above-mentioned email by September 30\, 2019. If you would like to make a donation\, we ask that all donations be ready for pick up by October 1\, 2019. If planning to give monetarily\, donations can be made via our website @ http://aaoleadershipacademy.org/ . This year our goal is to provide coats\, hats and gloves to a minimum of 150 children. The event will be held at 6740 Douglas Blvd. Douglasville Ga. 30135 @ Kuttin Images Salon. There will also be raffle’s\, free food and activities for the children and their families. \nAAO Leadership Academy’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of the children by providing them with coats\, hats\, and gloves for the winter. It is our belief that when children are physically healthy\, they can reach their highest level of potential. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to make a difference this year.

Our board members unanimously voted to start this annual event in Douglasville\, Georgia. After careful consideration\, we have chosen Burnett Elementary School to be the recipient of our contributions. AAO Leadership Academy’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of the children at Burnett elementary by providing them with coats\, hats\, and gloves for the winter.\nWe believe that when children are physically healthy\, they can reach their highest level of potential. We need your help to make an immediate difference in the life of each child. Through your generous donation\, we can ensure that the needs of many children at Burnett Elementary and in the surrounding community are met\, and these children remain warm throughout the winter. I hope that we can count on your help to make this possible.
