1st Annual Warm-A-Kid Drive

AAO Leadership Academy is a nonprofit, charitable organization whose mission is to meet the educational, physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of children within Douglas and Paulding counties.
This year, AAO has decided to host our 1st Annual Warm-A-Kid Drive to assist young children within Douglas County. The Warm-A-Kid Drive was an event established in Champaign, Illinois to ensure children had access to coats, hats, and gloves for the winter; started by Minister Hattie Paulk, who serves as the Vice President of AAO Leadership Academy. Our board members unanimously voted to start this annual event in Douglasville, Georgia. After careful consideration, we have chosen Burnett Elementary School to be the recipient of our contributions. AAO Leadership Academy’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of the children at Burnett elementary by providing them with coats, hats, and gloves for the winter.
We believe that when children are physically healthy, they can reach their highest level of potential. We need your help to make an immediate difference in the life of each child. Through your generous donation, we can ensure that the needs of many children at Burnett Elementary and in the surrounding community are met, and these children remain warm throughout the winter. I hope that we can count on your help to make this possible. All donations will picked-up by an AAO Leadership Academy representative by December 17, 2018.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns or need for pick up feel free to contact us.
With grateful appreciation,
Natalie Freeman, President AAO Leadership Academy
